The beauty of Korea’s traditional doors, 

windows and its patterns are presented in this work 

in the form of a book,

inspired by my father, an intangible cultural heritage in Korea.

"Layered Memories" is a work that represents 

the process of personal memories accumulating, 

layer by layer, to form a complete door. 

Each page of hanji symbolizes 

the artist’s past memories and experiences, 

gradually building up over time to create a complete story. 

This door visually expresses the accumulation of memories 

and experiences over time, 

reflecting the artist’s personal journey.
